Each month I am responsible for producing two magazines from concept to delivery of print-ready PDF files. Tasks include development of cover and feature story art concepts, purchasing or commissioning artwork, coordinating photo shoots, packaging multiple stories and completing editorial revisions. As the Assistant Art Director I was responsible for laying out feature stories and the recurring monthly columns and departments. Art buying encompassed arranging and art directing photo shoots, commissioning and art directing editorial and technical illustrations. I maintained the asset library for the entire publication.
